Monique Pauzé (Bloc, Repentigny) has spent years raising awareness of environmental and equity issues as a teacher, union coordinator, and MP since 2015. She has been a vocal champion of environmental priorities like eco-friendly schools, the restriction of pesticide use and fought successfully for the cancellation of the Energy East Pipeline. In the 43rd session of Parliament, she served as the Bloc’s critic for the Environment and Climate Change and Vice-Chair of the House Committee on environment and sustainable development, advocating for more robust action to address the climate crisis.
